86-755-82924037Thick optical glass tubes are integral structural elements designed for use in advanced optical communication devices. Characterized by their compact size, these tubes boast high precision, substantial hardness, and outstanding resistance to environmental factors, making them ideal for critical applications in optical collimators, isolators, and high-power lasers.
The manufacturing process of these tubes begins with the prefabrication of glass rods. These rods undergo a thorough cleaning process before being positioned above a high-temperature graphite furnace. Protected by an inert gas atmosphere, the rods are then subjected to a series of programmed operations within the furnace, including continuous pulling, drawing, and cutting. This method allows for the efficient and rapid production of large-diameter glass tubes that feature transparent surfaces and exceptional dimensional accuracy.

Borosilicate Glass, silica (SiO2) content 80%, softening point >800°C, high strength, high hardness, high light transmittance.
The glass rod tube is made of warm melted wire drawing. The surface is transparent, which eliminates local hidden micro-cracks on the surface. It is not easy to crack and break when dispensing and fixing, and the dispensing qualification rate is high.
The glass tube is transparent and has high UV transmission characteristics. Optical devices can be quickly cured and bonded with UV adhesive, and optical devices can be quickly fixed, positioned, and collimated.
The production process does not use any chemical solvents, and the materials and production process do not contain or involve substances controlled by the European Union.
The glass tube with 3<OD≤10mm is produced through CNC drawing tower, and the inner and outer diameter dimensional accuracy is high.
Using high-precision CNC machine tools to finely grind the glass tube, various structures can be customized to meet the requirements for fixing and connecting optical devices.
